Python is a general language made to be easy to read — it almost looks like plain English, which is why so many people learn it first. For AI work it's the libraries that decide it: PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy and the Hugging Face tools all live here, so the tools live here too. Mistakes in the types are found while the program runs rather than before, so bigger projects need care. When I want mistakes caught before I do, I still pick TypeScript or Go.
